Worlds AIDS Vaccine Day or HIV Vaccine Awareness Day is observed every year on 18th May to mark the efforts of thousands of researchers, scientists, health professionals who have contributed to the process of finding safe and effective AIDS medicine. It is also an opportunity to remind communities that they can also play part in ending AIDS through educating them about the importance of preventive HIV vaccine and early diagnosis and knowing their HIV status for better prevention and Treatment.
